About LunaJune
LunaJune started quietly, and without a plan. I picked up gel nails during the pandemic as a way to pass the time, and somewhere between lockdowns and late nights, I fell in love with it. When my daughter started requesting more intricate designs than I could pull off at the time, I started making press-ons just to practice and something clicked.
I've been creative my whole life, but this felt different. The more I created, the more I realized I didn't just want to keep it to myself. I wanted to bring that same feeling to other people — something handcrafted, intentional, and made just for them.
When it came time to name the brand, I turned to the two who had been keeping me company through it all: my cats, Luna and June. Luna, meaning 'moon,' represents light, femininity, and mysticism. June, rooted in the Roman goddess Juno, represents vitality and the protection of women. Together they captured everything I wanted this brand to be.
What started as a hobby has grown into a real passion, and hopefully, this summer I'll be pursuing my nail tech license to expand my craft and offer even more to my clients. Every set I make is a little piece of that journey, and I'm so glad you're here for it.
